About us

About APA Group Services Ltd.

Originally founded in 2001, the group has quickly established itself as a dynamic, forward thinking
organisation, meeting the often exacting repair and refurbishment needs of the owners of buildings and
structures.

Operating nationally through 3 separate specialist companies, the Group offers a highly personalised service that is able to respond quickly to a client's changing needs.

Health And Safety

The entire Group's trading companies take a "zero tolerance" view on health and safety issues. The Group operates a fully developed health and safety management system.

The Group Safety Advisor reviews the health and safety policy annually. All amendments to the policy are distributed and fully explained to all employees.

All projects implement current health and safety legislation, carrying out detailed risk assessments of the work to be carried out, along with COSHH assessment of materials to be used.

We are pleased to confirm our attainment of CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Scheme) since 2004.

The Group are working towards achieving OHSAS 18001.

Environment

The Group companies recognise their responsibilities under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) Regulations 1991, to provide a statement of policy along with the necessary arrangements to ensure it is effective.

Management systems are in place to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment by careful selection of appropriate materials and work processes.

The Group encourages specifiers and suppliers where appropriate to utilise water based rather than solvent based products.

All Group companies will review the policy annually. It will be amended whenever new legislation or codes or practice are introduced which could affect our systems of work. All amendments will be distributed to and fully explained to all employees.

We are proud to be the first Concrete Repair Association member to have achieved the ISO 14001 accreditation.

Quality

We are proud to be the first Concrete Repair Association member to have achieved the ISO 9001 accreditation.

We ensure that this accreditation is maintained by strict adherence to quality procedures, that are periodically reviewed by a third party UKAS Accredited Organisation.

Equal Opportunities

It is the policy of the Group Managing Director that there shall be no discrimination against staff on the grounds of colour, race, ethnic or national origins, sex, religion, marital status, disability or sexual orientation.

The Group companies will do their best to make sure that not only does no discrimination of any kind operate, but also that no potential employee of the Group companies has any grounds for thinking it enters into questionaing or assessment.

Training and Development

The Group ensures that training and development needs are fully met for all levels of staff, from directors through to operatives and administrators.

In ensuring continuous investment in training, the Group companies are able to deliver consistently high levels of service across a wide range of activities.
